TransPort Ventures, L.L.C.
Provide the technology and program plans for a 170-mile-long, $4 billion, high-speed transportation system to provide service from Denver International Airport to the Vail-Eagle County Airport, and all of the mountain communities en route.
The system requirements included a maximum speed of 125 mph, ability to climb 8% grades, and ability to be fully operational in inclement mountain weather.
The project will be built in phases by the project consortium, and owned by the State of Colorado.

Monorail Video Clips: (Cannot be viewed with AOL browser)
These movies require QuickTime. They are scaled to optimize to your connection. If you are on a high-speed connection (T-1 or better) and the picture is very pixilated, check your QuickTime settings to make sure you are set up properly for your connection speed.
